Swe Win was born in Yangon, Myanmar, and has lived in Daly City since 2018. She currently attends Summit Shasta High School, where she serves as Class President. She is also a member of her school's Youth Advisory Board, representing student perspectives and providing feedback to district leaders.

Swe founded Sending Sonders, a youth-led initiative that provides academic support and mentorship to local middle school students. An accomplished performer and choreographer of traditional Burmese dance, she uses the arts to celebrate her heritage and bring people together across cultures. Her writing explores themes of culture, identity, and resilience, reflecting her experiences and the strength of her community.
